Lesson Offerings
Learning to sing and play an instrument like the piano are skills, acquired through study and diligent practice. Talent can be developed and everyone has a voice! If you can speak, you can sing. If you can read, you can learn to read music! Come learn with me in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do you focus on in a lesson?
I focus on the things that create good habits for singers, pianists and dual instrument performers: posture, breathing, tone, diction, intonation (tuning), range, musicality, musical style, dramatic interpretation, reading music (theory), and building confidence.
What is your teaching philosophy?
If music enriches your soul, and you want to learn from a teacher who develops those skills with consistent kindness in a positive, fun way, welcome!
Does that mean you have a friction-free studio?
Absolutely not! Learning requires friction. In fact, to learn any skill or concept, it must be effortful. I use research-backed pedagogical techniques to build confident, thoughtful learners at all levels.
Do you have packages?
No. My students book on an as needed basis. If you'd like to reserve a "regular" time, please inquire at your next lesson, or via the contact form.
When and where do you teach?
12-7 Mondays (Midtown or Chelsea/Soho)
1-7 Tuesdays (Upper West Side)
12-6 Wednesdays (Inwood studio)
12-4 Thursdays (Inwood studio)
My Inwood studio is located close to the A 207, 1 215, and Metro North Marble Hill stops.
What about online lessons?
I can teach online Monday-Thursday using the video app that is most comfortable for you.
I'd like a lesson that is outside the days and times listed above.
